I guess this review will not be popular since this is the first non-5 star review but just being honest. For background this is a new home so new garage, but the garage was dusty, some bits of cement here and there.
1. I saw basically the prep. Based on some other videos, they do some “sanding” or thorough cleaning on the concrete. What I saw them do is that they just have a leaf blower to blow off the dust on the garage then afterwards straight on to the epoxy. I may be ignorant but that is not what I was expecting.
2. The corners of my garage, and the base where the garage door lands where there is a bit of recess from the floor, it is not how should I say polished or sealed thoroughly. Some flakes were coming off even after a few days from the edges and corners, and the seal I think was not applied to those areas.
3. When I close my garage door, and this was on the 4th day, I can see light leaking through. I was expecting that if it is done properly, the doors would not have light leaks. I am happy to be corrected if it is not.
I feel like I should have been given further discount if the prep that will be done on my floor was a mere leaf blowing, I could have done it myself and possibly more thoroughly.
